Topic: Tech 2 clone for climate control system issues in Hummer? How to
Problem: Hello Everyone, I am having a problem with my climate control system in my 04 H2. The driver side was stuck on heat and the passenger side would blow ice cold air. I followed the GM reset procedure and now both the driver side and passenger sides are stuck on heat. Should I try anything else before I tear the dash apart and change the blend actuators?
Suggestion:
Try this
Start truck .
Put Ac in auto mode
Turn off engine
Remove battery . Both + and -
Give a day . At least a night
Connect batt
Turn key to on possition. Dont start engine
Give it 3-4 min to relearn .. DONT TOUCH THE AC CONTROLS
turn key to off for not more than 15 sec
Start engine and test Ac
If it doesn't work then you may need to replace the actuator and again follow the steps
But it is weird the two sides went bad at same time . I would look for more info before trying to change them
FYI if the drivers side is the one you're having the issue with, it is one of the easier actuators to replace. It is under the glove box and you can replace it just by removing the plastic underneath the glove box. Now if your passenger side was blowing hot and your drivers was cold, that's when you have to take the whole dash apart
Website:
http://www.chinacardiags.com/wholesale/gm-tech2-gm-diagnostic-scannerworks-for-gm-saab-opel-suzuki-isuzu-holden-1011.html This is the TECH II that I purchased.
Result:
Thanks Everyone! I received my Vertronix Tech II- It works great! I was able to re-calibrate the actuators and now the driver's side is working correctly, The scanner tells me that the passenger side actuator is stuck so I guess I will be taking the dash apart.
Test:
I have fully tested it with all systems now and it works great. It told me that I had to replace both of my climate blend door actuators. I was able to tear the dash apart and replace them in 2 hours. Now my AC works again!!!

Tech2 vs Tech2win - Read before buying a Tech2 clone
It is very difficult here to find a mechanic that can interface with every function (diagnostic, coding, programming) and most don't know anything about the quirks and troubleshooting methods of these cars. Thats all good, all part of the fun of owning these cars out here they are very rare.
That leaves me with three options:
1) Tech2 clone - These use old hardware and GM have discontinued them although chinese companies seem to still be manufacturing them presumably because there is still a demand for them. There are mixed reviews on the internet but as a general rule it will work for what I need but maybe prone to failure. They will not interface with newer GM vehicles around 2010 plus? (might be slightly off on that year so don't quote me)
2) MDI clone - GM's diagnostic tool for dealerships is the MDI2. These are very expensive but can interface with every GM vehicle. The catch is that the software is done online and very expensive (around 2k per year for the comprehensive options or you can get a 3 day pass for around 50 bucks) The MDI was later replaced by the MDI2.
The chinese have copied the hardware for the MDI but not the MDI2. This probably doesn't matter for me. You can then obtain cracked versions of tech2win and GDS2 on the internet and use your clone MDI in order to interface with every tech2 function using the tech2win cracked version obtainable on the internet or in some cases included with the hardware. These are still somewhat expensive however theoretically more reliable and easier to transport provided you don't mind using a laptop. They are also much faster to transfer data when programming or retrieving data.
3) VXdiag Vcx NANO - This is basically a knock off MDI in a different case with a fake driver to 'trick' the GM applications (GDS2, Tech2win, TIS2000) into thinking its an MDI. These are very cheap and can be obtained for around $100. I have purchased one which includes the cracked versions of above programs.
Using the VXdiag NANO and tech2win application, I have been able to access every tech2 function including completing a CPS variation relearn, access all abs and airbag troubleshooting functions on my '99 C5 corvette. I have also been able to access ServiceProgramming System functions using TIS2000 and the vxdiag nano to update the PCM. This is very promising because of the price in comparison to a tech2 clone.
The catch? I don't think it will work on all GM vehicles. When attempting to interface with my '97 camaro, I was unable to access the ABS or airbag functions of the tech2, receiving a communications error. I guess my camaro is still old enough where the abs and airbag functions are performed over the OBD1 data bus (although it has an obd2 connector). However, I was able to carry out programming using the tis2000 application and access transmission and drivetrain functions.
If you are in the market for a tech2 for your C5 corvette, I think you should not purchase a tech2 clone. Instead, go for the MDI clone, or maybe the vxdiag nano if you are willing to risk the fact it seems to be hit or miss depending on the vehicle(s) you plan to interface with.
I have just purchased an MDI clone so will be interesting to see weather that will allow me to interface with the abs and airbagfunctions on my 97 f-body. If this also fails, I will have to purchase a tech2 clone.
One other thing to note, if you are intending to do programming, the TIS2000 application has not been updated by GM since 2008. Instead, they now use an alternative online based application called 'tis2web'. While TIS2web has been cracked for the european export GM vehicles, it has not yet been cracked for north american operation GM vehicles. As a result, if you are using a newer vehicle for programming, you will really need to purchase a 3 day subscription to tis2web.

GM Diagnostic & Programming: Tech 2 vs MDI vs Snap On Solus
This is software and equipment to get on with GM cars (2003 Monte Carlo SS, and a 2009 Cadillac STS) for diagnostics and programming.
In order to perform "advanced functions" on GM Vehicles you are going to need something that talks with all the computers on the GM Vehicle.
The ones that I know of that do this are:
1) GM Tech 2 (will handle everything including programming the computers "updating calibrations") This tool is being phased out but it's still supported until they can get the MDI fully operational. Either way this works Stand Alone without a Laptop/PC.
2) GM MDI (Some say there are limitations with some model years but others say it's better since the updates) Of course using Tech2Win to mimic what the GM Tech 2 does) - This performs like a J2534 Programmer as a Pass Thru Device. DrewTech and companies like Ease Diagnostics make J2534 Pass Thru Devices that will do this as well. And they sell their own flavor of Diagnostics Scan Software. Keep in mind only the GM stuff will do EVERYTHING for GM Vehicles.
3) Snap On Solus (This will do a lot not only on GM Vehicles but others as well. And it can do some of the advanced functions like Automated Brake Bleed on the ABS unit just like the GM Tech 2 and GM MDI) - Keep in mind there are many functions that the Snap On won't do. The Tech 2 and MDI will allows you the option to access and control everything on GM Vehicles.
There are others but I haven't seen them nor tested them.
I started out with the Ease Diagnostics J2534 Programmer with the Programming Assistant software and Scan Diagnostics Software.
However I found for programming these devices work great and they are also a good scan tool. However when I needed to Bleed the ABS Pumps on both a Silverado Duramax Dually and a Tahoe I could actuate the Solenoids and the Motor but never was able to activate the GM Automated Brake Bleeding Procedure. You can search this on YouTube to see how it works.
Ultimately I ended up acquiring a GM Tech 2 to go along with my Ease Diagnostics setup.
If you purchase Scanners that are less featured and don't support Bi-Directional diagnostics you probably will only be able to communicate with the ECU only. In some cases mid-level scanners have access to the ABS system and sometimes also the SRS system (airbag) but won't allow you to talk with the computers like the BCM (Body Control Module).
Depending on your GM Vehicle it can have as little as 3 computers and up (my wife's Escalade has 8 computers).
Also you have to keep in mind that some of the Newer Vehicles us CAN Communication. In the case of the Tech 2 you have to also have a GM CanDi Module in order to talk withe CAN Bus cars.
I don't believe the GM Vehicles you mentioned have the CAN Bus but you can look that up.
If you decide to go with the Tech 2 it can get confusing especially if you are wanting one that isn't a Chinese Clone.
The Tech 2 has been manufactured by Hewlett-Packard, Vetronix and Bosch/OTC. Regardless of which one you get they should do the job the same.
If you want official updates from GM to update the Tech 2 it will cost you a minimum of $775 per year to update. The good news is the final update for the Tech 2 has already released. If you get a scanner with this version you will never need to update it again.
AcDelco allows you access to the Firmware "Calibrations" for the computers for $55 for unlimited 2 to 3 days access. So regardless of which device that supports programming you get that's what it will cost if you need to program the computers with the latest calibrations.
Ps. If you are looking for tool that is working well only, you can get a decent one from China, much more cheaper than the dealer. There are many good China clone, esp. Tech 2 scan tools

Corvette ZR1 Navigation Unlock with TECH 2: Done!
Here are tips and guides of navigation unlock with a TECH 2 scan tool
Car: I have a 2011 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 that came with OnStar and Xm radio.
Purpose: I would like to swap the radio for a Navigation unit but remain with the stock Denso style corvette navigation unit.
Reason for navigation unit unlock: I purchased a Denso unit that came from a 2008 ZO6 and it worked when I fist plugged it in but after unplugging it the "Theft Lock" appeared on the screen.
I tried looking on ebay for unlock services and checked with a couple Chevy dealers but have not found anyone that says they can unlock it.
How to unlock a navigation unit using Tech 2:
You need an Tech 2 test instrument to unlock it.
The Tech 2 programs the navigation to the VIN number of your car.
The nearest Chevy dealer in my area should charge me an insane price to unlock it so I bought an Tech 2 myself. I don’t think they knew how to do it so gave me an insane price so I should not come to them, they had the Tech 2 instrument.
It was done in about 3 minutes, because I never used the instrument before.

The GM" >GM radios are VIN" >VIN specific, so the unlock process involves clearing the old VIN # from the nav unit, and allowing it to accept your VIN#. As I said, this can be done by anyone who has access to a TECH II. All GM dealers should have them, and if they tell you they can't unlock the radio, they are not telling you the truth. I went to my local Chevrolet dealer when I installed the nav unit in my 08 base. It's about a 5 minute job, but they charged me a 1 hour minimum labor $130.
I copied the how to shown below from a fellow forum member.
Here is how to use the TECH II to put the Nav unit into relearn mode:
Connect TECH II to car and put the car into acc. mode
At the main screen, select diagnostics
At systems selection menu screen, select body
At the VIN indent screen select
Appropriate model
Appropriate air conditioning
Nav radio
At the body screen, select Nav radio
At the radio screen, select special functions
At the special functions screen, select VIN relearn
At the VIN relearn screen, the scan tool will display, "do you want to clear the radio theft
information?"
To begin clearing, press the soft touch key on the top right of the scan tool. The TECH II will display "clearing theft in progress"
Once done, press exit on the TECH II and cycle the ignition
It's done and the Nav unit will now marry to your car.
The last, Technically there is no "jailbreak" for for OEM" >OEM Navigation radios" >radios for Corvettes.
Once a GM radio is initialized for the first time it learns the VIN" >VIN# from the vehicle and writes it to a flash within the radio. From that point on any time the radio is powered on the VIN" >VIN stored in the flash is compared with the current car VIN" >VIN # and if they don't match it throws up a TheftLock message (and/or lights" >lights a red LED" >LED depending on the radio).
All the technician is doing with the Tech2 is clearing the stored VIN# flash in the radio which causes the radio to relearn the new VIN # on next power-up.
My local GM service" >service dept. gave me the same speech when I asked about having TheftLock reset on a used OEM" >OEM radio(no guarantees resetting a used OEM" >OEM radio and no refund if they couldn't reset it) which is why I purchased a clone Tech2 to clear it myself (as well as be able to reprogram fobs on my other GM vehicles) and never looked back. I have now done several resets and BCM configuration changes for several local Corvette" >Corvette owners free of charge (ok, sometimes I accepted cold beer) and will continue to do so for anyone who asks.
That being said I posted detailed screenshots of how you reset the TheftLock on a Navigation radio here to make it easier for other members to do their own resets.

Possible to install Tech2win on Windows 10 32/64 bit?
Is it possible to install GM Tech2win on Windows 10 32 or 64 bit?
That’s what lots of people are looking for. Have read a lot threads and posts on the web and made a collection here. Maybe it helps.
Here you go.
Lenovo Windows 10 32 bit: works good
An excellently designed device. Allscanner LTD made a better product than any of GM’s partnership with German owned Bosch diagnostic tools and for a lot less money. I was able to reprogram a 2008 Cadillac XLR ECU in under 4 minutes using just a Lenovo Windows 10 Celeron laptop. It would have taken around 15 minutes with my Tech2 with CANdi module with serial to USB interface (what an outdated mess). The VX manager runs fine on Windows 10 and so does the Tech2Win program (I don’t know what this BS about having to use Windows 7 is about). The Tech2Win is slightly buggy occasionally, but it’s always been that way. GM crapped that software out most a decade ago.
Dell Lattude E7450 Windows 10 64 bit: works
I have a Dell Lattude E7450 with windows 10 x64 and a touchscreen. I had the same problem as everyone else experienced where it would not pop up the screen to select the MDI. I could get it to popup if I clicked the emulator directly however it crashed since it had no valid params (this is expected by design). I tried many things including the latest Tech2Win and swapping dll files, GM MDI manager versions etc and nothing seemed to work.
In the end the solution came to me and it was quite simple... Went into my device manager, expanded the Human Interface Devices and disabled the touchscreen device. I then could run Tech2Win and the GM MDI selector popped up like it should. If your device only has a touchscreen you will have to add a keyboard (either wired or Bluetooth) before you disable the touchscreen so you can use Tech2Win.
I'm willing to bet some device that some GM dealerships run the software on are touchscreen (with a compatible Lib) and in windows 10 we have some sort of touchscreen Lib (not compatible) conflict with the application.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Windows 10 64 bit: not work
I tested out full functionality of Tech2Win with my older laptop that I just upgraded to 10. It is working and doing what it should.
I also installed it on a desktop with Win10 and it works......
My brand new Surface Pro 4 does have error. It will not work.
Microsoft Surface pro 2 Windows 10 b4 bit: has error
installed tech2win, (vxdiag vcx nano gds2 and tech2win), it works on one laptop but not on another, both laptops are windows 10 x64
GM Tech2 China Clone:
the one that does not work gives me E668561: Vehicle Communication Interface (e.g. MDI) not found! Is it possibly not installed / not turned on?
The "Select Vehicle Communication Interface" window does not show.
in the log file it shows
07/28/16 18:00:15-638(0000.7603) pdu_api.c (02200) Error 0x00000000 PDU: could not initialize COM XML DOM instance.

Computers with Win 10 updated from Win7 Win8: works good
I have found that the 3 computers that this works on that have Windows 10 were all upgraded from windows 8 or windows 7. There could be something that was carried over that keeps Tech2win working that a Win10 only machine might not have or have set the same. So far I have not found a permissions change that fixes it though. It seems to be something else more elusive.
Toshiba C655: works great
Lenova Yoga 900: not works
Acer Switch 12: not works
Microsoft Surface Pro 4:
For some reason the Surface Pro 4 will just not pop up the screen to select the device when you start Tech2win. It won't do it in a VM either. The MDI manager will see the MDI fine native or in the VM.
Newer 64bit desktop: works fine
Old 64 bit laptop: works fine
Windows 10 touch screens mobile device: not run
Older Celeron desktop: works fine
(It’s an older Celeron desktop with only 3 gigs of ram that was just upgraded to win10. It works fine on this computer.)
.....
In summary, you need luck with Tech2win Windows 10.
Btw, info not sure but you can have a try:
For windows 10 you need to use the latest Tech2win 2.332
Previous Tech2win 2.322 is not supported from windows 10
That’s what lots of people are looking for. Have read a lot threads and posts on the web and made a collection here. Maybe it helps.

How to replace GM Tech2 DC-DC converter
Thread: GM Tech2 scan tool DC-DC converter replacement / No power on repair
If your thinking about a TECH 2 or have one that died like mine, this may help fix it.
https://www.facebook.com/obd2.diagnostics/videos/595347837467475/?t=0
This video goes over one possible source for a dead Tech2 scan tool that fails to power up when switched on. The video is aimed at various Chinese knock-off models of the GM Tech2 clone, but the repair would be applicable to an original OEM HP, Vetronix, or Bosch manufactured GM Tech2 as well. The repair involves replacement of the isolated DC/DC 5VDC power converter on the main logic board in either case. However, if you perform this repair on a genuine original Tech2, you will lose the ability for the unit to not restart during engine cranking due to normal vehicle battery voltage drop. The Chinese knock-offs were already missing this capability so no difference there (when you read about folks saying they fixed the unit restarting during engine cranking they just got lucky that the particular batch that the converter they bought came out of could handle dipping below 9VDC which is totally random and unpredictable). This is because the proprietary isolated DC/DC converter specified by GM is not available to the public and was custom modified to GM specifications so that it could handle as low as 7VDC input and still create isolated 5VDC output. The replacement isolated DC/DC converter parts available to the public require a minimum of 9VDC to output the same 5VDC. Sometimes you might randomly get lucky and one will go below 9VDC, but impossible to predict at purchase time. You could use a "cheap" non-isolated voltage converter replacement, but this is not recommended as it defeats the original protected isolated voltage circuit design by GM/HP.

(Solved) Tech II TIS2000 “cannot connect with security server”
Problem:
I’m getting my butt kicked; I have a Tech II scan tool with Saab v148.0 card in it. I have tried from Globaltis(Cracked) and TIS 2000 (Hardware key) but cannot gain security access.
Device:
I have a Tech II scan tool with Saab v148 from http://www.chinacardiags.com/wholesale/tech2-diagnostic-scanner-for-gm-saab-opel-suzuki-isuzu-holden-with-full-package.html

Error message:
Tis2000 gives me the error “cannot connect with security server”
Globaltis just says “error” when trying to gain security access.
I know it is communicating with the tech ii, because during the security check the tech goes from the home screen to “downloading”.
Laptop:
I am using a laptop with a TRENDnet TU-S9 USB to Serial Converter running XP SP3. I have java version 6 update 12 running.
Puzzle:
The only think I’ve noticed is the when starting globaltis it states “SAAB Automobile AB v146.00”. I have the 148 SAAB PCIAM card, do not know if that could be affecting it or not.
Advice/suggestion:
Very important.
Here in the forum (mhhauto.com) two types of SAAB v148.000 PCMCIA was shared
One for Tech2 hand held and one cracked for Tech2 Win
In Tech2 hand he'll only the one for its working
If its the right card uploaded in your tool card then go Security and do it
Try Java v 6.26
Its the best for GlobalTis or Java v7.0
Do you have it or not installed the SAAB v148.000 PCMCIA installed and can you connect to your SAAB car?
If not you can find this PCMCIA SAAB v148.000 for Tech2 hand held in the forum ( Not the one for Tech2win ) and use Card writer to flash you PCMCIA or MCE software
Or
use the advise of Mr. techamp (try to re-flash your Tech 2 PCIMA card with Globaltis so your hardware and software match. i believe version on globaltis is 146.00.) and use the SAAB GlobalTis to write your PCMCIA card
Then go to your card and check if the diagnostic is possible
Then connect again the Tech2 with the computer ->power it up ->run the GlobalTis-> use Security
Then you can do any SPS Programming in your car
Good luck

ABS Bleed: using Tech II or VXDIAG VCX NANO GM
Should have my Tech II clone unit something this week, and will go through it with a fine tooth comb to see that is really needed.
On tech2win, although the op is stating that its working in 64 bit mode, really want to go through it to double check if it needs to run in win 7 compatible mode for everything to work "correctly" instead.
GDS2 is run in VM mode under a XP shell so that should be trouble free, but need to check out SDS to see if it has a connection to AC delco/if it has been set up with some sort of an asian account to pull down firmware files. Here, got a feeling that you would need to get a one day subscription in order to pull down the firmware from GM, but want to see if it can still used firmware files that have been stored without needing a SDS account.
Hence if you do need an account to pull firmware files since you can't find them elsewhere, you want to pull down all the firmware file for your car and store them when you do have that one day account.
As for cycling the ABS pump with either a tech II or tech2win with the vxdiag vcx nano gm, and note that you do the procedure before you power flush/bleed, then after as well.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/XsaJ6lkWu7c
also, since the abs pump is not used much for most drivers, and you do have a tech II/ vxdiag vcx nano gm on hand, not a bad idea to run the pump about twice a year. This will cycle the stagnant fluid out of the pump, to refill it with fluid that has been recirculating; but still do a complete power brake flush around every two years still.

GM scan tool: MDI or Tech 2? original or clone?
Looking for a GM MDI interface or Tech 2 scanner and don’t know which one (original or clone) should you take?
Here you go.
Part 1: GM MDI or Tech 2
Part 2: Tech 2 original or clone?
- How to find the original or fake.
- worth to have a Tech 2 China clone?
Part 3: GM MDI genuine or fake?
- what’s the difference of MDI genuine & clone?
- GM MDI china clone any good?
Part 1: GM MDI or Tech 2
Tech 2 scan tool has become obsolete for shop use as of late. It still has a lot of capability and will do anything you need for the older platforms but it needs the CANdi module to work with any of the new stuff. The MDI is a 1 shot deal for all the newer PCMs and will still work on the older stuff too. I sold my Tech 2 and bought an MDI last year, haven't missed the Tech 2 since. Then again I've got a Genysis scanner I use for all my typical diagnostics & probing.
However, the MDI requires a GM log-in with monthly access to GM's website. That's it's only draw back for the enthusiast who wants a GM caliber scanner. The Tech 2 can be updated within itself and doesn't require the internet, the MDI does.
If you're running a shop, get an MDI. For the garage warrior or enthusiast, get a Tech 2. Just don't fall for these $350 pieces of garbage.
You can say that, Tech2win is a pain the the butt. It never updates security correctly for the 30 day window and that using GM computers and login info. The tech 2 is great for code reading, viewing data. The MDI is pretty much only used for programming but its needs on certain 10+ platforms and all 15+ to view data through GDS. All MDI functions require a GM subscription.
Part 2: Tech 2 original or clone?
First, How to find the original or fake.
It is very simple. The first thing I look, it's the memory card slot, open it up and look at the cover, if you see the stamp of the body exactly original. Next, the original at all wires and Candy use aluminum. As different numbers on the back cover, the photo you will see the difference. Sometimes it comes and all labels need to glue yourself.

Second, worth to have a Tech 2 China clone?
In short, that is a nice piece of equipment to have, very nice!
Aside from working beautifully with OBD2, the tech2 is the scanner for GM OBD1 to use. with the right software (plug in chips like nintendo cartridges) it’ll do some daewoo/suzuki, GM medium duty (meaning bigger than 3500 using non automotive OBD2 standards), and other in the GMdistant family tree too.
In addition to generic codes (P0000-P0999) It’ll do all the proprietary GM codes (P1xxx), actuators, and systems. you can also view fuel trims, emissions readyness (beyond a green LED for all OK) and It’ll talk to ALL the modules rather than just the ECM (and if you get into the $250+scanners, ABS) like BCM, SIR, entertainment, EVERYTHING on a GM. At school I used one with a 91+ cartridge on my 87 S10, so going back further is hit or miss but posible.
To adjust shift points and fuel consumptiona and Speedo, forget it.
The TECH2 can’t do any sort of modding/tuning, only upload GM flashes. At least with legitimate software. I’m sure someone has custom software to do it but there are easier ways nowadays.
Is it worth if you just want to read/clear codes on your own car once in a while, heck no. If you’re doing a lot of work on GMs or want to get a lot more in depth with your car, it’s worth the money.
No comment on China knockoff quality, I mean a working tech2, Chinese made or not.
Tech 2 scan tools are verified working:
Reviews talk a lot. Use with relief.

Part 3: GM MDI genuine or fake?
First, what’s the difference?
This is a chart of GM Multiple diagnostic interface comparison: GM MDI 1 vs. GM MDI 2 kit.

But the price ($12000) of MDI 2 is 4 or 6 times as MDI 1 ($150-$300).
So, no matter it’s used for DIY fun or professional repair work, a GM MDI clone of high quality is definitely no issues. Note that there are different versions of GM MDI china clone; and the quality may vary coz they are produced in different factory, especially PCB design. And it would result in various prices. But you will get what you pay for.
Second, GM MDI china clone any good?
GM MDI China clone Working well. Tested with GDS2 v.12.
Device works with GDS2 (Opel).
Device works with Tech2Win. (Opel, Hammer)
Device not works with SAAB via Tech2Win.

The MDI came ready to use with the software installed. It worked since I already had Tech2Win, GDS2 and GM MDI Manager installed on my laptop. It works extremely well and I have no problems with it. The product image at the time I order showed the cable keeper, A/C 12 volt adapter and multiple diagnostic interface user’s guide CD which is used to install the MDI manager software on your laptop. These items were not included. It also said it was Wifi but did not come with a wireless card but with a wireless interface instead. There are two versions of GM MDI interface on China market, cheaper MDI less than US$180 with only USB connection and the other more expensive with wifi wireless connection.
The product would work excellent if you had the MDI manager software already on your laptop.

My device tested with many cars for 4 months.
Device works with GDS2 (Opel).
Device works with Tech2Win. (Opel, Hammer)
Device not works with SAAB via Tech2Win.
Tested by my own, works with Saab 9-5, 2003, 3.0
It works with tis2000 and tech2win NAO.
My MDI clone works fine with tech2win and also TIS2000 software. Used it for diags and pcm flashing with no problem (through usb port only, cause wifi is unstable for programming functions).
Added a wireless card to that one too, same flawless performance.. Only issue for me is that they all have the same serial number.. So using 2 of them in the same shop with wireless would be impossible..
compared boards from a genuine to this clone, almost identical.. multiple layer pcbs, same tracers, didn’t see any difference except the board labeling was missing on the clone.
Wifi GM mdi good, interface works online. update mdi 100%. offline not that good for new cars.
Nissan Consult III Plus Ver.46.30 works on MDI interface as well (this is not tested by me, your are on your risk).
Here you go.
